We left Minneapolis at about 10 a.m. and headed north in 3 SUVs. Our first stop was Poor Richard's. The owner had opened the store just for us! I made no purchases, but I found a very worn 3-d frame/diorama of Mary, Joseph, and a pre-teen Jesus propped on the floor in the second room. It would have needed a lot of repair work. I also found a great wall safe with ornate brass doors. As I continued to look for odd things to draw others in the group actually made tasteful purchases.
I also noted that there are a lot of troll dolls in antique stores these days. I don't quite like what that says about my age. |
