No trip to the fair would be complete for me without some salt water taffy. I left my box of taffy in Tom's car when he dropped me off. He was nice enough to drop it by later that night when he was passing the house again. Of course I had to draw one, and eat several. Fresh salt water taffy is a great treat. (You'll find the salt water taffy in its own kiosk attached to the outside of the food building. You can watch a mechanical churn made to look like a man, pull the taffy. Another machine takes a great rope of taffy, squeezes it thinner, cuts it into pieces, and wraps the pieces in wax paper. There are over 10 flavors, but I prefer strawberry, vanilla, banana, and butter rum.)
