I went to the Bell Museum of Natural History to sketch from the taxidermy specimens. These are some quick warm up sketches using a Memory Brush Pen. The pen has a solid felt brush tip which is very supple. The ink is also watersoluble so I could stroke the lines with the Niji waterbrush for shading. Over time, however, I've found that the pen doesn't last very long compared to other pens I've used.
