This is the box which contains the September Carving-a-Day Journal. I had the box before I decided to do this unbound journal. The box is a metal box with pierced sides. I thought it would be perfect for beading over. I bought several different sizes. The above box, which is about 3.25 inches square, made the perfect container for a short term project using journal cards. I used a variety of Japanese seed beads and decorative beads to make the fringe. Black and white beads were used for the "feet" on the box.
