One of the beauties of living in Minnesota is the cold weather. It does wonderful things, making "solids" even out of air. I love looking east along the Mississippi River to the Ford plant and seeing the steam rising from the smoke stacks on a cold day. Wind will distort the steam, or bend it, but it still retains its solidity. (Gouache and white stamping ink, with gold leafing pen.)
