In the fall of 2000, I accompanied friends who enjoy antiquing on a whirlwind trip across Wisconsin. Our goal was to see an exhibit of 19th century art in Madison. On the drive there and back we also stopped at many antique stores. I kept a loose-leafed journal, for which I made a box and case when I returned home.
