Remember how I said on the last page that I'd changed? Well evidently I didn't change quite enough. I have found that hairstyles are a good predictor of my behavior. For a host of reasons the ponytail has been in retirement. If you're going to ride a bike, it's the hairstyle of choice. I knew as soon as I pulled my hair back that getting the new bike was the thing to do.
In order to write about this epiphany I had to have an image, so I held my camera up and away, and projected the digital image on my computer screen, sat back and sketched with a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen and gouache. |
