The trouble with a square book is that unless you draw small, within the square, long items are not possible. (Or maybe I just like to crop things?) I did think about turning the journal vertically, but then the wing tips would have been gone. I'm happy with this.
I'm still at the Science Museum. We had time for one more sketch. I reclined on the floor below this floating exhibit. It's kind of a strain, clearly I need to do more sit ups so the half down half up sitting position can be held longer. This is either a tundra or trumpeter swan, and I'm betting the first. |
