I was fortunate to have Cristo, a small black poodle, come and stay with me for two days in August. His owner was out of town. Cristo was elderly, and given to napping. He could get into the oddest positions. I spent the two days drawing him almost every hour on the hour, over 20 sketches. This is still the journal with Zerkall Niddegen for text paper. Cristo passed away on September 22. This visit was the last I had with him. He had lots of chicken, steak and other treats (all "on the list").
